STOP: 0x0000007B (0xF78D2524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) error while installing windows xp
Here I am, writing about an error that I faced while installing windows on my machine after I upgraded my machine from AMD Athlon64 to Intel Core i3 (2nd generation). I was quite happy for the new configuration I got.
So, everything was fine while installation until I got this blue screen:
What scared me even more was the fact that Ubuntu 10.10/9.10/10.04 installation was working fine which meant that there was no problem in hardware installation. I googled a lot to solve this issue. But, after trying several solutions by different writers, finally, I came across an article that worked fine for me…
I resolved the stop issue by the following these steps.
1. During start up, when you see the Intel logo, press F2 to enter the BIOS.
2. Expand the “Configuration” section .
3. Go to “SATA Drives” .
4. Go to “Chipset SATA Mode” .
5. Change this from “AHCI” to “IDE”.
6. Exit BIOS saving changes.
After this I had every reason to smile
Always N-Joy !!!
